Danny C. Williams Jr.

Danny C. Williams Jr. is Of-Counsel with Sherwood & Robert. Danny focuses on business formation, business transactions, commercial litigation, and estate planning.

Danny earned his Juris Doctor in May 2024 at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, with a certificate in International Law. Demonstrating academic excellence, he was consistently named on the Dean’s List each semester of law school. His legal acumen is further highlighted by his participation in the 2023 ABA Judicial Clerkship Program and his study of international law in Rome, Italy.

Prior to his legal studies, Danny earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa, where he majored in Energy Management and Finance and was a member of the University of Tulsa Division I Football Team. His passion for international affairs took him to University College Dublin, and he actively contributed to his community as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma.

Professionally, Danny garnered significant legal experience as a law clerk at The Law Office of David Hyde in Chicago, where he prepared key legal documents and performed high-level privilege reviews. His judicial externships with the Honorable Judge Thomas Durkin and Chief Judge Rebecca Pallmeyer at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois provided him with extensive exposure to litigation processes, particularly in constitutional and copyright law.

Before embarking on his legal career, Danny worked as a land negotiator at ExxonMobil Corporation, overseeing land rights and negotiations, which included key projects that significantly boosted production capacities.
