S. Fred Jordan, Jr.

Fred Jordan is Of-Counsel with Sherwood & Robert. Mr. Jordan is an experienced litigation attorney and handles complex legal matters including civil and business litigation, construction law, personal injury, criminal defense and military law. Additionally, Jordan serves clients as a governmental and legislative affairs consultant and lobbyist.  

In addition to practicing law, Mr. Jordan served as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2006 through 2014.   During his time in the legislature, he served in the top leadership post of House Majority Leader in 2013 and 2014, as well as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee in 2011 and 2013 and Vice Chairman in 2009 and 2010. 

After graduating from law school, Mr. Jordan was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and served as a Judge Advocate (2000-2003 active duty) (1996-1999 reserves).  He was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina and served as the Military Justice Officer, Chief Trial Counsel (prosecutor) and Legal Assistance Attorney.  While on active duty he had the opportunity to serve overseas as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and advised commanders on international and operational law issues.  Mr. Jordan’s military decorations include:  Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Services Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Select Marine Corps Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
