Kurston Patrick McMurray is Senior Counsel with Sherwood & Robert. He focuses on commercial matters, including business transactions, corporate governance, litigation, breach of contract, business dissolution and separation, real estate transactions, healthcare, banking and mergers and acquisitions. He also has experience with alternative dispute resolution services.

While at the University of Tulsa College of Law, he served as Articles Editor for the Tulsa Law Journal. He was on the Dean’s honor roll and graduated with honors.

Advised NGL on its $900 million sale of NGL Propane, LLC its retail propane distribution business to Superior Plus Corp in July 2018
Advised NGL on its $893 million purchase of Mesquite Disposals Unlimited, LLC in July 2019
Advised NGL on its $600 million purchase of Hillstone Environmental Partners, LLC from Golden Gate Capital in November 2019
Advised NGL on its $112 million sale of NGL marine assets to Campbell Transportation Company, Inc. and Magnolia Marine Transport in March 2023
Advised NGL Energy Operating LLC and NGL Energy Finance Corp on its $2.9 billion debt refinancing transaction consisting of $2.2 billion senior notes offering and a $700 million senior secured term loan facility in February 2024
Advised NGL Water Solutions, LLC with its $70 million sale of its North and South Ranches located in the State of New Mexico in April 2024
